On weekends we spend most of our free time outside in the British countryside. In Monday’s post we visited the Welsh mountains and apart from that you would often find us in a gorgeous manor house or a park. As there are plenty, it’s always beautiful.

When exploring I mostly wear flats. But sometimes, even if it doesn’t happen that often, I fancy a pair of heels as in today’s outfit. I’m not somebody who’s desperately in need of wearing every trend. That’s the reason why you didn’t see me in an off-shoulder top this summer here on the blog. If you ask me only very few women can pull off the look but I’m not one of them (therefore off-shoulder tops look insanely gorgeous on Blair of Atlantic Pacific or Julia of Gal Meets Glam). Hands off for me though. Most will know my passion for midi skirts by now so it’s definately thumbs up for the metallic trend and a pleated midi skirt.

For those who are after a beautiful view towards Liverpool, I can recommend the New Brighton Promenade in Wallasey. I was suprised how much I loved it there and somehow the view reminded me a little bit of New York. On a smaller scale of course. There’s also the Wallasey town hall right by the promenade and I think it provides such a stunning backdrop, doesn’t it?

My outfit:
Zara High Neck Blouse (I love this polka dot one as well which I showed here)
Zara Metallic Pleated Skirt (love this one from Topshop too)
Jimmy Choo Agnes Pumps
Mulberry Lily Bag
