As promised I’ll show you more Laura Ashley today! When you are that lucky and are able to spend some days at Llangoed Hall, the country house hotel that Bernard Ashley helped shape into what it is today (find my post here), it seems kind of obvious to wear an allover Laura Ashley outfit as well.

This is a loving collaboration with Laura Ashley where I put together an outfit which is playful and romantic and couldn’t fit better into this pretty setting. I instantly fell in love with the beautiful maxi skirt, a very timeless piece whose print is from the Laura Ashley archive and has this unique style. I know that I will constantly wear it this spring and summer, the material is so incredibly light. I love the sewn in lace underskirt, the buttons in the back and the big pockets in the front. Unfortunately it’s currently not available but this, this and this one are perfect alternatives. I think they are so timeless and look beautiful time and again. They are so easy to combine too. As there’s currently a sale, you can find lots of products with a discount of up to 60%. I ordered this maxi skirt today since I’ve always been a huge fan of toile de jouy. laura ashley romance

This collaboration means a lot to me especially because I’m German but have been a loyal Laura Ashley customer for many years. We usually spent our holiday in the UK travelling with our own car and used to hit the shops to purchase a lot. Even during my time at university in Cambridge, I revamped my little room with some accessories. Almost all of our wallpaper in our former house was from Laura Ashley and those who came to visit us in our house from Sweden back in Germany used to love the style. It looks like we’re going to move this month (at this stage I can’t tell you more though) and people who know me won’t be surprised that I’m constantly planning in my head. I’m dying to get a new dining table and chairs which would look great in an English cottage. I’ve set my eye on this French inspired furniture for a while now. laura ashley romance

I always love skirts with a lace underskirt. And I used to buy in my puberty at a Laura Ashley store in Arnhem. Such a lovely style!

Thanks so much Nancy, I’m really loving the lace detail too. Is Laura Ashley still in the Netherlands?

How lovely! I love a bit of Laura Ashley. I do like it when they re-release archive styles. I grew up not too far from Llangoed hall but strangely have never visited it!
