I’ve been looking forward to the bluebell season for months! I became infected as much as the British believe me. Every year bluebells transform the woods in Britain into fairytale-like landscapes for about 4 weeks. One of my favourite bloggers, Rebecca from A Clothes Horse who looks like a fairy to me anyway, took photos in the bluebell woods which look amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it and it makes me want to go to the exact same spot in Northern Ireland next year. bluebell walks in cheshire

I don’t recall having seen this in Germany before! Last year we visited Cholmondeley Castle (here) where you find pretty bluebells as well and we love the park so much. It’s only a 20 minute drive from where we live. We would have loved to have gone about 2 weeks ago but since we visited Germany, it clashed with our calendar. By the way, I’m wearing my favourite hat by Preston & Olivia that I got last season. It’s the Evelyn hat and this is the current style and I absolutely adore it. Even though the hat is a bit more expensive, it’s hand-made and you can really see and feel it. Before ordering, I got in touch with someone at Preston & Olivia to ask about sizing, then I ordered the size M and it’s perfect. You can see it close-up in the video. If you haven’t already, I would love you to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube Channel. bluebell walks in cheshire

There are many places in Cheshire where you can spot bluebells. Over and over again I witness how fond the British are of the bluebell season and I can’t recommend a visit to the Isles during that time of year enough to experience this gorgeousness for yourself. It’s so worth it. bluebell walks in cheshire

My outfit:

Preston & Olivia Evelyn Hat (last season; this is the current Evelyn style and I absolutely adore it!), Somerset by Alice Temperley Dress (love this and this style as well), Kurt Geiger Espadrilles (old; love these and these ones too), Zara Basket Bag (similar one here and love this one too), & Other Stories Sunglasses (old; similar style here and here)

Fabulous photos – I particularly like the one of your sitting among the bluebells. Disappointingly, I haven’t made it to any bluebell forests yet this year, and time is really running out now! Kx

Thanks so much Karen! That’s my mother’s favourite photo as well. Bluebells are so amazing, aren’t they? Hopefully you get the chance to see them next season.xx
