A DRESS FOR VALENTINE’S DAY (AND ALL OTHER DAYS)

valentine-dressvalentine-dressvalentine-dressvalentine-dress

Last year I told you that Joerg and I have a more relaxed view when it comes to Valentine’s Day. We don’t want to celebrate our love on that certain day only and go crazy with buying presents. Dress up on the other hand is something that is always nice. It may well be that we will go out for dinner on Valentine’s Day if we are in the right mood for it. We will decide very last minute.

It got a bit colder here in the UK and I think it’s one of the reasons why I picked this springlike dress. I instantly loved its print, the colours and the shape. Currently you see far too many people dressed in dark colours and hardly come across something that oozes joy. Sometimes I get the impression that people want to blend in with their surroundings and only wear black, grey and brown. Actually there’s no reason for that and choosing a bit of colour and print can make such a difference. What do you think and what’s your opinion about Valentine’s Day?

What I wore:

Closet Floral Dress (love this, this and this one too), Pink Bonded Coat (love this and this one as well), Jimmy Choo Agnes Pumps, Benedetta Bruzziches Bag

I love a dress, Kirsten, because it’s usually easier when getting dressed. The print on this one is so lovely!!
Valentines Day is our anniversary, so as much as we love going out and celebrating, it’s also such a crowded time at the restaurants!! We always laugh and say that it’s so nice that everyone celebrates our anniversary with us–LOL!

Oh your anniversary is on Valentine’s Day? That is so funny but probably not when you’re looking for a reservation at an restaurant (as you said they are always so crowded). We will keep it low key and might go to a pub, nothing fancy but very relaxed. The image of people celebrating your anniversary with you is such a lovely one :)x
