MISTY WINTER WALKS & RED ACCESSORIES

How did you spend the holidays? I must admit that I was able to relax these past days here in Germany and even managed to start reading the book I told you about in this post. It feels so incredibly good to have time for some literature and recharge my batteries. Of course we enjoyed some great food too and loved sitting together with our family. Quite traditional really. And although these photos were taken in the UK, I packed my Hunter boots for Germany as well and already wore them on a rainy walk. We had lots of presents in our suitcases (our luggage even carried Christmas crackers and I think we attracted a bit of attention in the German restaurant!) but there’s always some space left for my wellington boots. Those are the Hunter Tour wellies that are especially created for travelling because you can fold them. I also love nothing more than wearing red accessories in winter.

Let’s talk about indulgence again: We already had some chocolate marshmallows here because we haven’t found them in the UK yet. It seems that one always has a craving for the things you can’t get. Then again there’s nothing wrong about it because you enjoy them even more when you finally have them in front of you. Makes one appreciate the little things in life.

What I wore:

Topshop Parka, Topshop Jumper (currently not available; similar one here or here), Boden Cavendish Jeans (on sale!), Hunter Original Tour Wellington Boots, Gap Beanie (old; similar one here), Barbour Scarf (similar one here and here), Weikert Gloves (old; similar ones here or here)

Love the red accessorizing you have happening there! Red always brightens up a dull outfit and it certainly added some great colour to your photos 🙂

I couldn’t agree more, I think red is the best at this time of year. Thanks so much Natalie.

Stumbled upon your blog via link-up and what a great outfit, really love the pop of red. More importantly it’s nice to hear you enjoyed the holiday season with your family. The pictures are amazing and I love how foggy it is in some of them. I’ve never been to Germany but it looks beautiful. Glad I stopped by.
